Arrived Paris
(Charles De Gaulle) at 3:00 (1/2 hr early).
No Customs hassles, no passport stamp.
Got our luggage, found a taxi, and had a 35-40 minute ride to the
Hotel Intercontinental (note: the taxi driver was playing a Shania Twain
CD!). Got checked in, then
went for a walk along the Champs Elysees.
We got a drink at Le Deauville, then it was back to the room.
We stopped for some Bertillion ice cream on the way.
Later, we went out for some dinner; sausages & fries for
‘becca and Croque Monsieur & fries for me.
We went to bed ~8:30 pm.
